Ordering & Artwork
How do I place an order?
Choose the product you need, select the available size, material, finish or quantity options, then add your artwork or personalisation instructions before checkout.
Can I upload my own design?
Yes. Most of our general print products are designed for customers supplying their own artwork. Upload a print-ready file on the product page where the upload option is available.
What file types do you accept?
PDF is preferred. We can also accept high-resolution PNG, JPG, TIFF, SVG, AI and EPS files where supported. Artwork should be supplied at the correct proportions and at suitable print quality.
What if my artwork is not print-ready?
If we notice an obvious issue, we may contact you before production. However, customers remain responsible for checking spelling, dates, names, image quality, dimensions and the overall content of supplied artwork.
Will the printed colours exactly match my screen?
Not always. Screens display colour using RGB light while commercial printing uses print colour processes. Small differences in colour, brightness and saturation can occur between a screen and a finished print.
Personalised Products
How do I personalise one of your designs?
Select the design you like and enter your required names, dates, wording, colours or other changes in the Personalisation Instructions box. Please check the information carefully before ordering.
Can I request changes to one of your designs?
Yes, where the product allows it. Straightforward wording, names, dates and colour requests can usually be accommodated. More substantial redesign work may require an additional charge or a custom quotation.
Can I cancel a personalised order?
Please contact us as quickly as possible. Once design work or production has started, cancellation may not be possible because personalised and custom-made goods are produced specifically for you.
Signs, Boards & Large Format
What is the difference between Foamex and Correx?
Foamex is a smooth rigid PVC foam board with a more premium appearance, suited to displays, events and business signage. Correx is a lightweight fluted plastic board suited to economical, temporary and directional signage.
What board sizes do you offer?
Our standard board range includes A4, A3, A2, A1 and A0 where shown on the product page. Other sizes may be available by quotation.
Are your prints suitable outdoors?
Suitability depends on the product and material selected. Some products are intended mainly for indoor or short-term use. If you need outdoor durability, contact us before ordering so we can recommend a suitable material and finishing option.
Delivery & Production
How long does production take?
Turnaround varies by product, quantity, artwork approval and workload. Some specialist products may be produced by an approved trade print partner and can take longer than items produced in-house.
When does the turnaround time start?
Production normally starts once payment has been received and any required artwork or personalisation information is complete and usable.
Do you deliver across the UK?
Yes. Available delivery options and charges are shown at checkout where applicable.
What if my order arrives damaged?
Please contact us promptly at bigprintstudio51@gmail.com with your order details and clear photographs of the item and packaging so we can investigate.
Returns & Problems
Can I return a custom printed item because I changed my mind?
Custom-made and personalised goods are generally produced specifically for your order and may not qualify for change-of-mind cancellation. This does not affect your statutory rights where goods are faulty, damaged or not as described.
What if there is a printing error?
If the finished product differs materially from the artwork or specification accepted by us, contact us with photographs and your order number. We will review the issue and, where appropriate, arrange a replacement, reprint or other remedy.
What if the error was in the artwork I supplied?
Customers are responsible for the accuracy of supplied artwork and personalisation information. We cannot normally replace an item free of charge where the finished print accurately reproduces an error contained in the submitted or approved artwork.
