Foamex vs Correx | Which Sign Board Should I Choose?

Foamex vs Correx

Foamex and Correx are both popular printed sign-board materials, but they suit different jobs.

Foamex

Foamex is a rigid PVC foam board with a smooth surface. It gives a more premium, solid finish and is a good choice for wedding signs, indoor displays, retail signage and presentation boards.

Correx

Correx is a lightweight fluted plastic board. It is economical, easy to handle and particularly useful for temporary signs, event signage, estate-style boards and short-term promotional displays.

Which should I choose?

Choose Foamex when appearance and rigidity matter most. Choose Correx when you want a lightweight, cost-effective sign for temporary or practical use.

Outdoor use

Both materials can be used for suitable outdoor applications, but lifespan depends on exposure, mounting and the printed/finished specification. Contact us if you need advice for a longer-term outdoor installation.
